What cookies and browser storage do
Cookies are small values a website can ask a browser to store and return with later requests. LocalStorage and sessionStorage are separate browser storage mechanisms. A browser also has caches, history, permissions and download records that are not the same as cookies.
Behavior of the supplied features
The site's navigation, technique tabs, expandable lessons and reveal effects do not need persistent browser storage. Their current states are held in page memory or native browser controls. The supplied JavaScript does not write cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage.
| Feature | Where information goes | Persistence |
|---|---|---|
| Menu and tabs | Current page memory | Not saved by the site |
| Message draft | Form fields and current page memory | Not saved by the site |
| Copy draft | Your device clipboard, on request | Controlled by your device |
| Download draft | A text file on your device, on request | Until you remove it |
Browser and hosting behavior
Your browser may cache static files or restore form values according to its own settings. Hosting or security infrastructure may process requests or use mechanisms outside the page's JavaScript. Those behaviors should be checked against the live hosting configuration; the absence of cookies in the supplied interface code is not a claim that no technical information is processed.
Managing your choices
Use your browser's site settings to inspect and clear cookies or stored data, control clipboard permission and manage downloads. Deleting site data does not automatically delete files you downloaded or text already copied to a device clipboard.
The message tool works without persistent storage. You can avoid clipboard access by using the download option or writing an email directly. No analytics or advertising service is required for the educational content.
